Spring Series Race 6 and Information on Nesting Birds at Needs Ore
Coming up this Saturday is the last race of the Spring Series. It’s also the first leg of the Travellers’ Trophy so we are hoping for a great turnout. In Beaulieu River Sailing Club style, it’s not all about the race, it’s about getting out on the water, meeting up with friends and having a good time. All welcome.
Latest update on nesting activity surrounding the clubhouse. from Adam Wells, Natural England.
The oystercatcher nest on the map with a blue dot has been lost.
The red dots are active oystercatcher nests that need avoiding.
The yellow dot on the map is a new Ringed Plover nest found today, Thursday which has a nest cage over it and is within the roped off area.
