Sail Numbering

The BRSC has traditionally adopted the WS (West Solent) sail identifier and this is our class standard. If you have a different sail insgnia such as LR (Lymington River) please contact the Class Captain for clarification on elegibility.

Class Restrictions

Scows, once built at Palace Quay, have sailed the river for many years. Modern boats, built in Lymington, are based on an original Palace Quay hull. There are many other scow variants around the Solent.
If you are buying a boat to race with the fleet, you must conform to our Class rules. If you have any doubts speak to the Class Captain
