Summer Pottering – 14 -17 August

The club is planning, pending weather conditions, some social and relaxed pottering on the river at Needs Ore from Monday 14 August to Thursday 17 August.  Hopefully the August weather will settle after our stormy July and we will be able sail comfortably in perfect conditions!

This year, it’s purely social and for fun.  It’s not an instruction week.  There may or may not be safety cover for every day so sailing is at your own risk but we won’t venture out if the wind is too strong and will just picnic at the club house instead.  Those that feel nervous to sail on their own can always double up with those with more confidence.  Please do join us for some or all of the days or come for lunchtime picnics even if you don’t want to sail.

Below are the HW timings should you wish to join in some easy sailing, picnics and fun.  We suggest meeting at Needs Ore an hour before High Water on each day and we can picnic post some fun on the water.

Monday 14 August – HW – 11 am 

Tuesday 15 August – HW – 11.30 am

Weds 16 August – HW – 12 noon

Thursday 17 August – HW – 12.30
