The BRSC Regatta takes place this coming weekend on 27 and 28 August.

The weather is set fair with easterly wind conditions on both days so we should have some fun sailing.

If you are planning to sail, please ensure you register your boat from 10am on the day and that your boat is seaworthy! There will be a briefing for all sailors and volunteers at 10.30am and the first race is at 11.00am.

For those of you who are not planning to sail, please do join us too and bring a picnic lunch. There will be a ‘free’ bar offering some wine and beer and soft drinks on the Saturday. On the Sunday teas and cakes will be provided after racing and before Prize Giving at 4pm. Please do bring a cake if you feel inclined.

Dogs are allowed at Needs Ore but must be kept on a lead at all times. And please remember to drive a a snail’s pace past the Needs Ore Cottages.

Just a quick note too, to say a massive thank you to all the volunteers who have offered to help make these days work. You know who you are!

I look forward to seeing you for some fine competition and merriment.
